This photo changed my life!
My mom was my greatest inspiration for my career. She was a very talented painter and exposed me to art very early in life. One day she told me to join her to meet Andy Warhol in West Hollywood at The Margo Levin Gallery. I was not all that interested and I had other plans, but she insisted so I make the trip.
I brought along my camera and took this photograph. That is Factory member Jackie Curtis sitting next to Andy. Jackie commented about how much he like mom’s Pop Art dress. I recall Andy asking her if she was an artist. Wild!
