Classic Lita Ford of The Runaways from 1977 at home with the folks in Long Beach.
My parents would not let me go to Japan with The Runaways back in 1977. They wanted to me stay in school at Van Nuys High so I could study for some French class. That was the biggest mistake of my life. Anyways, The Runaways went to Japan and I was stuck at home. When the band returned to L.A. I drove down to the airport with Kim Fowley and Rodney Bingenheimer to greet the girls, camera in hand of course. At the end of the day, I do not think I passed the French class so I really blew it on all levels!
