I ran into model Ana Coto in the bathroom of the old Sugar Shack on Magnolia Blvd in Sherman Oaks recently. It was in this very same restroom where Cherie Curie, Joan Jett, Kim Fowley, me and half of the valley teeny poppers would sing, dance and pee!

During the summer of ‘77 we all hung out at the Sugar Shack in Sherman Oaks. You had to be under 21 to get enter and it was the coolest kids in town including Joan Jett and Cherie Currie of The Runaways. The music was amazing and there was all sorts of unprotected teenage sex going on in the parking lot ( DO NOT TRY THAT TODAY ). This evening I returned after three decades to The Shack with actress Ana Coto and made this photo.
