The Dead Boys backstage at The Starwood checking all of their moving parts in 1978.
The Dead Boys were an amazing band to photograph. Especially their charismatic lead singer Stiv Bators. More than once when I would point my camera in the direction of Stv, he would pull his pants down. Not sure if this was for pure shock value or if he just got a kick out of exposing himself. This photo was taken backstage at The Starwood in ‘78 in their smoke and groupie filled dressing room. FYI, Stiv had the hottest chicks in the industry!

Did someone ask for Kim Fowley photos? Yep, I have them and this one is a classic photographed in his “dog den” in Hollywood in 1977 with this chick who I think was his wife for an hour or two.
Kim was and even today remains a living legend. He is without a doubt the most brilliant talent who I ever worked with.
I will never forget the days when he would command Michelle Meyer to “keep urinating” and prepare his “dog stink”. I will never forget those magical days.
