Look how cute Joan Jett looks back here in my photo from 1977 taken on the Santa Monica pier. That is Sandy West next to her. Joan was always a great shot!
I really dig this one of Joan and Sandy. I took it in 1977 in the outside SIR studios in Hollywood. We were all so young and cute back then. Whoever thought that thirty years later there would be a movie about The Runaways!
You can eat this one up! Sandy West almost looks as cool as Joan Jett in this photo. Is that possible?
This is a classic photo of two brilliant drummers from the seventies. Sandy West from The Runaways and Danny Benair of The Quick. I took this photo backstage at The Whiskey A Go Go probably around 1976. I bet that Danny would remember the exact year, month and day!
