Young and cute Runaways drummer, Sandy West at Hermosa Beach! Sandy and I walked around while I took photos of her horsing around on the boardwalk. These were the kind of photos that the Japanese magazines all went nuts for. She was a sweet soul.

In 1977 I spent the afternoon in Huntington Beach taking photos with Sandy West of The Runaways. She was a beautiful soul and I know that she has many tumblr fans who still ask about Sandy.
I did a couple of solo photo sessions with Sandy West, the drummer of The Runaways. This was from a 1977 session in her home town of Huntington Beach. Sandy was one cool drummer.
