At LEADAPRON in West Hollywood in West Hollywood today delivering my new PHOTO BOX!
When I was a teenage photographer I wanted to take photos of KISS for Japanese magazines. My dream came true when I got to meet Paul and Gene and I actually got to take this cool photo of Paul eating his ice cream bar! More photos on my Factory 77!
Back in 1976 I put a bunch of color Kodak slides of The Runaways, KISS and Queen into a suitcase and headed to Stockholm to vist Hans Hatwick the publisher of Poster Magazine. Hans published so many of my photos for years and he became a good supporter of my early work. Here I am in front of his Stockholm office with my brand new Aquascutum overcoat that I had just bought in London a few days earlier!
Me in Willie’s office at Milk Studio’s last night.
Inside my dealer, Kana Manglapus’s Venice gallery today.
Gene Simmons at the slop wagon backstage at a KISS rehearsal in the 70’s. Gene was like a bottomless pit when it came to taking his photo. He loved it!
During the 70’s, any photo of KISS translated into a sale to Japanese magazines. I loved it and so did may pal Gene!
