Hanging out with The Maine last week on the Sunset Strip.
John from The Maine mentioned something about Muddy Waters during their set this week at The Roxy. Funny, but I photographed Muddy with Ron Wood backstage at The Roxy about three decades ago. Muddy was legendary!
I want rock and roll attitude in my photos! Funny thing is that these guys in the The Maine, have no attitude. Just five normal cool dudes who adore their fans. I never saw anything like it before and it’s so refreshing.
At the end of my photo session with The Maine earlier this week, I walked back to The Roxy with John and pointed out some of landmarks including the corner where I had my first apartment at the corner of Sunset Blvd and Dohney. John enjoyed the stories and it was a real memory lane for me!
