Cool photos from the 70's and today!
No! I never considered myself a paparazzo. I maintained a friendship with my subjects and we all worked together. My job was to take the photos and make sure that they were published in magazines and newspapers all over the world. Once in a while, in the case of a Bowie, Plant or John Lennon I could not resist taking their photos paparazzi style and I do not regret for one moment today. Now if it was Kim Kardashian walking into On The Rox in 1977, I may have passed on making the picture!
Enjoy this stunning weekend!

I almost shit in my blue jeans when I saw John Lennon and Ringo Starr arriving together at On The Rox on the Sunset Strip back in May of 1976. Photos of either one of these legends were so rare and lucrative. It was a miracle to get a photo of two Beatles together and you could have retired if you had shots of the entire band together. If you want to see the entire story of this photograph, check out this video produced and directed by photographer Erica Lauren.
