John Taylor was the most friendly and by far the coolest of the pack from Duran Duran during out ‘82 Rock Show photo session. I did not see him again for about 25 years.
Duran Duran had a free day and did not have a clue where anything was in L.A. back in ‘82, so I piled them in my old MBZ and we hit the Sunset Strip. Simon made a big deal of this classic old Lincoln Continental in a parking lot so that became the center of the photo shoot.
In 1982 I headed over to the old Hyatt House on the Sunset Strip to photograph this new band, Duran Duran for Rock Show magazine in Japan.
