Everywhere that Joan went, I was not far behind with my camera. I took this photo backstage at Blondie’s concert at the Santa Monica Civic in ‘78. Joan and Debbie together was iconic back then and it still is today. I was one lucky teenage boy!
Debbie Harry was so cool to photograph. She had so much style and natural beauty. I saw here every time she was in town with Blondie. I took this photo at my friend Rodney Bingenheimer’s radio show in Pasadena. That was 1977.
