Actual never before published Debbie Harry photo at an awards show in L.A. I think I took this one around 1980.
Jon Voight flipped out when I took this photo of him with his daughter Angelina Jolie at a party for Blondie Firoucci back in 1978. I was just a kid with a camera trying to take a photo.
Debbie and Chris at Rodney’s KROQ radio show a million years ago. Guess how many photographers were there? One.
Today everyone is covering pop culture and loading their photos up to a blog. Back when I was doing this stuff in the 70’s there was only a small group of us tuned into the scene and the magazines who would buy our photos. It was all guys, but there were a couple of girls taking photos and one of them was my friend Jenny Lens. She was everywhere and she adored punk. I think that this photo was taken at a Blondie Fiorucci party in Beverly Hills around ‘78. If I am incorrect, I am sure that I will hear back from Jenny!
