A kind tourist took this photo of me today at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. The site is simply stunning and everyone was taking photos. Afterwards I went inside the memorial for a very emotional visit. Even though photography was permitted inside the memorial without a flash, I did not see one visitor take a photo. Probably due to the emotions and respect.
