The time was 1977 and the person who gave me the “gold pass” to meet, hang and photograph Joan was the legendary Kim Fowley. Next to Joan, Kim was probably my # 2 favorite photo subject. He was tall, handsome and incredibly intelligent. One day and there were many, Kim ordered me to his “dog den” to photograph him with this lovely blonde GF. I did and the rest is history.
