Joan Jett was a giant Suzi Quatro fan when she was a teenager. One day she was hanging out at the Hyatt House trying to meet Suzi when she met Suzie Quatro’s manager, Toby Mamis from Famous Toby Mamis Enterprises. Not only did Toby introduce Joan to Suzi, but he was one of the first to spot her talent and charisma and went on to be one of the original managers of The Runaways. Toby and I are still buddies today.
