I took this photo thirty years ago this month in Tokyo. Yes that is Leif Garrett being followed by a Japanese taxi loaded with Japanese fans. I can just image the fans telling the driver to “follow that pop star”. I hope that they gave the driver a nice tip.
Those were insane and memorable days. Guess, what? I am returning to Tokyo this week. Kind of a thirty year anniversary. I will be showing my photographs at the Apple Store Ginza this Friday from 4-5pm. Please come over and say “hello”!
